Former President APJ Abdul Kalam passes away in Shillong at the age of 84

Former President APJ Abdul Kalam has passed away after being admitted to a hospital in Shillong on Monday following sudden illness.

Kalam (84) collapsed during a lecture at IIM Shillong at a function where he was a guest faculty member. He was rushed to Bethany hospital in Shillong.
