Help earthquake victims of Nepal!

Help earthquake victims of Nepal!

Akhil Bharat Nepali Ekata Manch (Regd.)

Central Committee

New Delhi Dt. 26 April, 2015

Appeal

The devastating earthquake which hit large parts of Nepal including its capital Kathmandu left more than four thousands dead and tens of thousands other injured. The number is sure to increase as large parts of remote areas are not accessible by road and it will take several days to get in to the affected areas.

The dreadful earthquake has not only swallowed the lives of thousands of people but also destroyed a significant and most important part of Nepali history. The historical minaret Dharahara was reduced to ashes. Many world heritage sites in Kathmandu were destroyed. An entire civilization was turned into debris.  Mount Everest was badly shaken.

The terrible quake has also hit neighboring Indian states of Bihar, UP, WB and Sikkim where around hundred people were killed. The autonomous region of Tibet  was also affected by the earthquake where  seventeen people are killed as of now.

In this hour of grief and sorrow, our organization offers heartfelt condolences to the deceased persons, deep sympathy to their families and  pledges to  whole heartedly extend solidarity  with grief stricken people in Nepal as well as India and China.   Wishing  speedy recovery of the injured persons we   call upon the doctors  and health workers to fully dedicate themselves in this humanitarian endeavour .  Finally,  We call upon the people to come forward and make monetary and other help generously which would be a significant contribution  towards the relief of earthquake victims in Nepal. Your small contribution can make a difference to the lives of people battling for their survival and rehabilitation.
