Egyptian protesters have begun flooding out of their homes for the 15th straight day to step up pressure on President Hosni Mubarak to step down.

Large crowds of people continued to camp out in Cairo's Liberation Square throughout the night despite government efforts to defuse a two-week political crisis that has paralyzed the country, a Press TV correspondent reported early Tuesday.

Sayyed Nasrallah Declares Support to Egypt's Patriotic Revolution
Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah announced on Monday support to the Egyptian and Tunisian people in the light of their revolutions against their regimes. His eminence stressed that what we're witnessing today is a real and patriotic revolution in Egypt.



Hezbollah Secretary General Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah says the Egyptian Revolution will leave an impact on all regional and global developments.

"It has always been said that Egypt is the mother of the world. This is right and you (Egyptians) who are there, you are the great people who can, with your will and solidarity, change the face of the world," Nasrallah said in a speech on Monday.

"You are waging the war of Arab dignity. Today, with your voices, blood and steadfastness, you are retrieving the dignity of the Arab people; the dignity which was humiliated by some rulers of the Arab world for decades."

TEHRAN - Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has said that the main cause of the protests of the Tunisian and Egyptian nations was the humiliation they suffered due to their governments' servitude to the United States.

Ayatollah Khamenei made the remarks at Friday prayers at the Tehran University campus, in reference to the popular protests which have recently occurred in certain Arab countries.

During his sermon, the Leader called Mubarak the "servant" of Israel and the United States.

"Today's events in North Africa, Egypt, and Tunisia and some other countries have a specific meaning for us," he said.

This is the Islamic awakening that "was always talked about at the time of the victory of the great Islamic Revolution of Iran," he added

He also called these developments a "real earthquake", adding that if the Egyptian nation leads their revolution to victory, they will make the United States suffer a "permanent defeat" in the Middle East.

"Today, we are witnessing that there are developments in Tunisia and Egypt which are spread to other countries as well…Enemies regard Iran as a major factor behind causing the (ongoing) movements," Fars news agency quoted Ayatollah Makarem as saying on Monday.

Hundreds of Tunisia's foreign ministry staff demand Tunisian Foreign Minister Ahmed Ounaiss quit after he paid lavish compliments to his French counterpart.


About 300 employees at the foreign ministry stopped work and staged a protest in front of their building in the capital Tunis on Monday, saying their boss was not worthy of their country's revolution and should quit, Reuters reported.

"Our priority is to force this minister to quit," said Abderaouf Taieb, a ministry official.

"He is not worthy of this revolution. We no longer accept to work with him and we will continue our demonstration until he leaves," the official added.
