Subj: The International Day of Quds - Friday, 24 Ramadan (September 3, 2010)
THE PEACE Thru JUSTICE FOUNDATION
RAMADAN 1431 A.H.
(August 30, 2010)
Assalaamu Alaikum (Greetings of Peace):
The international observance of The International Day of Quds is right around the corner; this coming Friday (September 3) in the last 10 days of the blessed month of mercy and spiritual elevation known as Ramadan.
Below are the varied locations of Al-Quds observance in the United States - i.e. Chicago (IL), Dallas (TX), Detroit (MI), Houston (TX), Seattle (WA), St. Louis (MO) and Washington (DC). The Peace Thru Justice Foundation is a co-sponsor of DC's observance, and we encourage ALL of our friends and supporters - Muslims and non-Muslims throughout the U.S. - to support with your presence the Quds observance closest to you.
As Imam Mohamed al-Asi has correctly noted:
The City of Jerusalem, al-Quds itself, is not a monopoly of one religion, and it belongs to its Palestinian inhabitants. The Zionists don't have a secular argument, nor do they have a religious argument for stealing the city of Jerusalem and building their settlements by force, at the expense and misery of the original Palestinian inhabitants of that city and that land.

Quds Day by Imam al-Asi
To our friends and supporters in the Washington, DC, area....hope to see you there!
