Our patriot Intellectuals need to come forward to emancipate the nation

For the negligence towards issues of national interest and the very sustainability, intellectual people are not also less responsible.

People with intellect, patriotism, vision for the nation- remain happy by being called 'Intellectuals'. On the other hand politics is captured and dominated by half-educated and tout types of people who only give lip-service to such issues.

Corridor is already given to neighbour without assessing the consequence of it on our economy, trade, security and sovereignty. But opposition parties are giving only lip-service against it- without resisting it.

Politics has been taken as a very lucrative lifelong 'profession' by them. There is no scope for potential intellectuals to take over politics though they always think and write about politics.

Nation needs those patriot intellectuals to come forward and rescue them from our unskilled, corrupt and visionless politicians.

If our intellectuals are really concerned about the sustainable issues of Bangladesh such as democracy, human rights, security, sovereignty, justice, economic salvation and freedom of people from the bondage of corruption, injustice, deprivation, poverty, environmental pollution etc; they should do followings: 

- unite all patriot intellectuals (not subverted intellectuals who act as foreign agents);
- identify problems in politics, judiciary, administration, education, trade, security etc; then
- formulate nation-building program and
- implement that by uniting the people.

We cannot afford anymore to leave the fate of our nation in the hands of those unskilled, dishonest, corrupt and foreign agents whose motive is only to grab or stick to power for enjoying power, money and serving the objectives of their masters.
