'Patriot Act strangles free speech' Posted: 24 May 2011 07:12 AM PDT The Patriot Act stifles free speech and suppresses rational thinking so that Americans can't question the US government in its illogical political decisions and endless wars. In an interview with Press TV, Mark Glenn, the Crescent and Cross Solidarity Movement, enlightens us on the political games that US politicians play to appease lobby groups while ignoring the call for democracy. |
John Mearsheimer on Obama versus Netanyahu Posted: 23 May 2011 08:49 PM PDT This is a short interview of John Mearsheimer commenting on the recent U.S.-Israel flap. His points are familiar, but it's great to see his brutally frank comments on the power of the Israel Lobby in suppressing discussion of the issues and on spineless American politicians who fail to protect U.S. national interests. |
'Mubarak, Ben Ali's fall mirror Israel's' Posted: 23 May 2011 11:04 AM PDT Israel encroaches on Palestinian land and illegally attacks its citizens, a breach of law under UN article 194, a political analyst says. In interview with Press TV, journalist and teacher Adie Mormech attests to the Israeli brutality towards Palestinian citizens during Nakba Day this year, disallowing Palestinians safe passage through the Erez crossing -- a violation of UN article 194. |
Posted: 23 May 2011 10:55 AM PDT Whether the media establishments want to admit it or not, and believe me they don't, Ron Paul IS the 'front runner' for the republican primary. Despite voracious denials and vitriolic arguments from almost every quarter to the contrary, he is the only one with a chance of shutting out Obama for the presidency in 2012. He appeals to all sides of the aisle, and is attracting the much sought after independent swing vote almost as fast as he has the youth of the nation. The Internet is indisputably Ron Paul country as countless polls and google trends have repeatedly shown. The gradual change in political rhetoric flowing out of Washington, D.C. over the last 3 years reflects an explosion of interest in the freedom message he spreads so tirelessly. The continuous growth in popularity of talk and news shows focusing on freedom and the Constitution broadcasts loud and clear the rising prominence of issues he has brought to the debate. For anyone with any powers of discernment, it's a no-brainer. |
'Bahrain judicial system is illegal' Posted: 23 May 2011 10:10 AM PDT The Bahraini people say the government is a sham and a mockery of justice as Bahraini courts sentence two people to death, and two more to life imprisonment. In an interview with Press TV, Nabeel Rajab, president of the Bahrain Center for Human Rights, elaborates on the Bahraini government's extreme measures as it continues to crack down on protesters. |
'UN deaf to Palestinians' plight' Posted: 23 May 2011 09:50 AM PDT Israeli troops have killed more than 20 people during Nakba Day demonstrations across the Middle East. Nakba Day, or the day of the catastrophe, marks the occupation of Palestinian territories by Israel 63 years ago. |
New Details On Al Qaeda Pentagon Lunch: Defense Dept. Was "Impressed" With Terrorist's Presentation Posted: 23 May 2011 09:26 AM PDT New details have emerged in the case of the Al Qaeda front man who was invited to a Pentagon lunch just months after the 9/11 attacks. As we previously reported, official government documents obtained by Fox News last year revealed that Al-Qaeda terror mastermind Anwar Al-Awlaki, the man who helped plot the aborted Christmas Day underwear bombing, the Fort Hood shooting, the Times Square bombing attempt, and who also preached to the alleged September 11 hijackers, dined at the Pentagon on February 5, 2002. |
'US puts Israel before its own people' Posted: 23 May 2011 08:06 AM PDT US politicians prefer Israeli lobbies over the citizens' basic needs as President Barack Obama reaffirmed Washington's "unbreakable" ties with Tel Aviv. In an interview with Press TV, Eugene Michael Jones, editor of Cultural Wars Magazine, describes the iron-clad US commitment with Israel at the expense of its citizens' basic rights. |
US 'flashing orange', please stand by for financial repression Posted: 23 May 2011 07:52 AM PDT This week Max Keiser and co-host, Stacy Herbert, report on color-coded prostitutes for Munich Re, financial repression for the USA and a New World Order of growth accelerated exploding watermelons for China. In the second half of the show, Max talks to a former banker at Goldman Sachs and Bear Stearns, Nomi Prins (author of It Takes a Pillage) about Matt Taibbis The People versus Goldman Sachs and about the IMF. www.facebook.com |
TSA Backs Down from Prom Night Grope Posted: 23 May 2011 06:02 AM PDT Last week it was announced that TSA goons would conduct a grope-down of students during prom night at a Santa Fe high school. The TSA promised to move from airports into the New Mexico high school after two girls said security personnel groped them and a federal judge ruled the TSA should conduct pat-downs at dances or graduations. |
'Spanish govt. turns against people' Posted: 23 May 2011 05:28 AM PDT Nationwide protests continue in Spain against the political establishment and high unemployment rate as the ruling Socialist party suffers election losses. What follows is a transcript of a Press TV interview with Daniel Serrano from Real Democracy Now in London on the recent protests in Spain. |
Obama's call for Palestinian state on the pre-1967 borders was "stillborn" Posted: 23 May 2011 05:00 AM PDT The ex-premier agreed that there is a Jewish community in the proposed Palestinian entity, "but we don't accept the existence of the so-called State of Israel on Palestinian territories". This, he added, should be the Arabs' aim. "It might take generations but that's not a problem. Arabs must be prepared to wait because rushing isn't justified by sacrificing the national right. The Jews did not think about the fate of Arab Palestinians when they established what they call Israel." |
'US furious with Israel, but lobby too strong to oppose' Posted: 23 May 2011 04:50 AM PDT Barack Obama has warned Israel that if it doesn't work towards a credible peace deal, it could soon find itself totally isolated. Political analyst John Mearsheimer says America's getting tired of indulging Israel's every whim... |
Just Another day of Discrimination and Apartheid in Hebron Posted: 23 May 2011 04:14 AM PDT Some of the streets in Hebron on Sunday saw Palestinians put under a four hour curfew from 15.00 until 19.00 in order to facilitate a Jewish tour of the old city for the Jewish settler population living in the area. |
North America's water fluoridation debate: Battleground Austin Posted: 23 May 2011 12:00 AM PDT As a result of a year-long public outcry against water fluoridation in Austin, TX, the City Council held its second public meeting on the issue May 18, which attracted a standing-room only crowd.
Water fluoridation is a policy endorsed by numerous global health organizations, most notably the American Dental Association and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Controversy surrounding the practice has grown in recent years, however, as an increasing number of scientists and health professionals argue that fluoride in drinking water causes many negative health effects, especially when looked at beyond dental health to the impact on the whole body. Review of Jared Taylor's "White Identity: Racial Consciousness in the 21st Century" Posted: 22 May 2011 10:18 PM PDT Some time in late 1992 or early 1993, a friend mentioned he was reading Jared Taylor's new book Paved With Good Intentions. He praised the book for its solid debunking of the racism-made-me-do-it "root cause" of sociopathic Black behavior. It seemed too good to be true. In the back of my mind during our brief conversation I wondered: Jared Who? |
The Labour Party War Against White Britain Posted: 22 May 2011 02:02 PM PDT Paul Weston's article "Why is this not treason?" will make your blood boil. It describes the Labour Party's war against White Britain. (The article links to another article, "Ethnically cleansing the English" that is well worth reading.) Key quotes: |
Is the US Driving the World Towards World War III: Osama's Alleged Compound. How Many SEALs Died? Posted: 22 May 2011 04:48 AM PDT In a sensational and explosive TV report, the Pakistani News Agency has provided a live interview with an eye witness to the US attack on the alleged compound of Osama bin Laden. The eye witness, Mohammad Bashir, describes the event as it unfolded. Of the three helicopters, "there was only one that landed the men and came back to pick them up, but as he [the helicopter] was picking them up, it blew away and caught fire." The witness says that there were no survivors, just dead bodies and pieces of bodies everywhere. "We saw the helicopter burning, we saw the dead bodies, then everything was removed and now there is nothing." |
Bill Gates pushes for 90 percent vaccination rate worldwide Posted: 22 May 2011 12:00 AM PDT The infamous Bill Gates is on a crusade to vaccinate the entire world. In a recent speech, the Microsoft guru-turned-humanitarian put pressure on the governments of the world to "prevent four million deaths by 2015, [and] ... ten million deaths" by 2020. He believes this will happen by vaccinating at least 90 percent of the world's population.

Sex, Lies and Pharmaceuticals - how drug companies exploit female sexual dysfunction for profit Posted: 21 May 2011 12:00 AM PDT In the last decade, many American women have begun to question their libidos. Even though just twenty years ago, women accepted the ebbs and flows of their sex drive, something has changed. Many now hope for something to help them keep up with their partners, in the bedroom. They see their desire as falling short of what it should be. Now, for some strange reason, there is a new standard that many women feel they are falling short of.
